Estate managers and body corporates ask us this constantly: if we already have cameras and an alarm, do we actually need a patrol too? Here's the honest answer.
Cameras record. People respond.
A camera tells you what happened. An officer on site can actually stop it from happening, or intervene while it's still in progress.
The 'someone's watching' effect
A marked vehicle doing visible rounds changes behaviour before anything happens. Most opportunistic crime is deterred by visible presence alone.
Faster response when something does happen
An officer already patrolling nearby can be on scene in under 3 minutes, well ahead of a response dispatched from further away.
Who actually uses patrol?
Residential estates, business parks, shopping centres, and event organisers are our most common patrol clients, anywhere with multiple access points and predictable foot traffic.
What to look for in a patrol company
PSIRA registration, proper vetting, GPS-tracked vehicles, and clear incident reporting. If a company can't show you all four, keep looking. If you want to talk it through, let's have a conversation.
Not sure where to start?
We do free site visits, no obligation. Let's talk about your property.
